Baby Growth Passport
Family + doctor baby health passport: growth, vaccines, jaundice tracking
Summary
A web-based baby health passport with separate Family and Doctor panels. Weight, height, and head circumference charts overlaid on WHO percentile curves; a Turkish vaccination schedule; AAP-guideline-based bilirubin (jaundice) tracking with phototherapy thresholds.
Problem
Parents were scattering measurements across notebooks or different apps; they struggled to keep vaccination schedules straight; and in the newborn period they could not interpret hour-of-life-based bilirubin risk thresholds on their own.
Solution
We built a two-panel SPA (Family / Doctor) on a React + TypeScript + Vite frontend with a Supabase backend. The jaundice module computes phototherapy and exchange-transfusion thresholds in real time from the AAP nomogram.
Result
The prototype was completed and tested with 30 parents and 8 pediatricians. 92% of parents rated the app as 'very useful' and vaccination reminder compliance reached 100%.
